K-Discovery

eDiscovery Solutions for
Korea's Discovery Framework

Discovery readiness begins with a precise understanding of enterprise data

INDA K-Discovery is Intellectual Data's eDiscovery service built for the Korean discovery environment. Drawing on deep expertise in Korean enterprises' IT systems, security policies, and data architectures, we design response strategies tailored to each client's specific data environment. From large volumes of electronically stored information (ESI) to complex unstructured data, we provide efficient processing, analysis, and review to minimize the operational burden and legal risks associated with evolving regulatory requirements.

Korea's Discovery Framework

The amendment to the Act on the Promotion of Mutually Beneficial Cooperation between Large Enterprises and Small and Medium Enterprises, promulgated in February 2026, sets the stage for Korea's discovery framework, scheduled to take effect in 2028. As legislative discussions continue across the Patent Act, Civil Procedure Act, and Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act, the ability to manage and respond to digital information in litigation and dispute contexts is becoming a core business capability.

Recognized as a Specialized Discovery Service Provider

Intellectual Data has been designated by the Korea Intellectual Property Protection Agency (KOIPA) as a specialized discovery service provider under its panel of expert organizations supporting domestic and international intellectual property disputes. We support Korean SMEs and mid-sized companies in navigating overseas IP disputes, providing end-to-end eDiscovery expertise to help clients effectively manage U.S. and cross-border litigation processes.
